Local wifi speed Archer BE400

Hello guys, can someone tell me if this router speed only around 200mbps or 20-30MB/s when transfering data locally, or the speed of share storage.

I test storage speed with Ethernet cable, the speed is correct. But if I use wifi it only has 20 to 30MB/s, but this router should have 2.5gbps theoret

Got Virtual Desktop and want to look into the dedicated router setup. Am I doing this right?

Archer be400 is a dual band router. While it works, you could get better performance with a better wifi6e (tri band) router.

Having serious issues

The TP-Link BE6500 (AKA Archer BE400) has 2.5GB WAN, 1-2.5GB LAN & 3-1GB LAN ports. It's $149.99 at Amazon right now. The single 2.5GB LAN port means you can only hook up one device at 2.5GB on your local network (such as a PC, or a 2.5GB switch). Hooking up a 2.5GB switch to the port will let you s

Mounting holes rant

I came here to say exactly this. It's absolutely infuriating, this is the third tp-link router I have and I mount them in the same place every time and this is enough to make me never want to buy a tp-link router ever again. On this new one, the Archer BE400, not only is the whole spacing different

Flint 2 Vs Tp Link be6500 (be400) Vs Tp Link be 550? Any advice would be appreciated

The Flint 2 has been, and probably still is, the cheapest router with at least one 2.5gbe lan port. That's why it became popular. The Archer BE400 seems like a slightly worse version of that so I wouldn't consider it. The BE550 is a step up from the flint 2 with wifi 7 and 4 ports at 2.5gbe. I'd say

Bought a TP-Link Archer BE400 on Amazon India – Turned Out to Be Used with Suspicious Configurations

Hey everyone,

I recently ordered a TP-Link Archer BE400 from Amazon.in, expecting a brand-new router. But to my horror, I discovered that it was a used/refurbished unit—and worse, it still contained data from a Chinese hotel!

Even after a factory reset, a lot of pre-configured settings remained, i

Changing region on Archer BE400?

I've recently bought a new BE400 router, since I moved to Indonesia, and had issues with my old router here.

Ironically, I experienced same exact issue as I had with my old router - my new router has region set as US, and my Macbook pro gives an error in the logs: "Found conflicting country code(s)

Help needed: Hive with a mesh network at home?

I have the be400 archer wifi extender and a RE550 mesh. The network has changed but since I have the hive nano I don't see an option to connect to a new wifi network. Apparently it's supposed to do it automatically? The hive is still connected to the virgin router.

looking for a good VR gaming router , can someone help

There was a very similar post yesterday (high latency, same router, similar specs). Look into my reply (and other replies) here: https://www.reddit.com/r/virtualreality/comments/1k8huyd/please_help_me_set_up_my_new_router/mp7zawx/ Take a screenshot of the VD performance overlay so we can see what exactly

looking for VR gaming router recommendations

Hey we bought the TP-Link Archer AXE75 AXE5400 wifi 6 router as we heard it was good but its just not performing well even on a dedicated wifi 6 ghz . The latency is still quite high.

We were wondering if the TP-Link Archer BE400, BE6500 wifi 7 router would be a suitable upgrade.

Is this router 6
