Best Router for Local Multiplayer VR?
Wi-Fi 6 I can personally vouch for the ASUS AX1800 or AX3000 routers. Avoid TP-Link and Huawei Wi-Fi '6' routers for VR gaming specifically, they're know to cause issues. Their Wi-Fi '6e' routers are fine though. In terms of connecting multiple headsets to the same router, do you mean you're playing

US conducting criminal antitrust investigation into TP-Link, Bloomberg News reports
Their products were involved in some pretty big botnet campaigns that targeted large companies like Microsoft. There's still a network of rogue AX21 routers, mostly in Europe that are actively attacking systems. They really ruffled the wrong feathers. FWIW, I think Tenda and Wavlink should be banned

WiFi 5 GhZ Doesn't Penetrate Thick Walls Well.
Haha, I made the account when I was a huge fan of the show while it aired. Gotta rewatch again soon! Are AX1800s that good?, I feel disappointed in TP-link budget routers after this experience.

High net latency on Galaxy Tab S9?
For context my router supports WiFi 6, a TP-Link AX1800/Archer AX21. I'm on the 5Ghz AP with no other devices connected or APs in range, in front of the router, and I get 40 to 90ms on this tab. Somehow on my Legion Go (it's like a Steam Deck) I get around 1ms network / 1ms decode even behind walls.

TP-Link Routers Could Be Banned In the Next Year, Affecting Nearly 65% of Internet Users in the US
Same. I just wonder how long I was vulnerable to being part of a botnet because I didn't know the AX21 specifically had such a big vulnerability until these recent articles. I don't use the TP Link app so I don't get firmware update notifications unless I happen to log into the router. I Also picked

Problems when changing DNS Address
Hi pi-hole community,
I've done some searching over the past hour to find out if anyone has run into the same issue. I'm either not finding anything or my limited tech knowledge is essentially blinding me to the answers. In short, please be easy on me if this has been asked/answered before.

TP-Link Routers Could Be Banned In the Next Year, Affecting Nearly 65% of Internet Users in the US
So far CNET is the only source I found that says that the router vulnerability was a result of a default password. The password spray attack was an attack by the router botnet on Microsoft. Remote management isn't even enabled by default on the tp link AX21 router which is the main one I know of bei

TP-Link Routers Could Be Banned In the Next Year, Affecting Nearly 65% of Internet Users in the US
It's not clear that the vulnerability has anything to do with a default password. Either way the bigger issue is people not updating their firmware or knowing they're supposed to. The fix has been available for their AX21 routers for over a year but nobody knows they're supposed to update. I don't u

Support for TP Link Archer AX1800
This is a few years late, but... for anyone who thought it would surely be finished now: TP-Link AX1800 AX21 router uses the Broadcom BCM6755 system-on-a-chip(SoC). Broadcom is problematic in the best of times, but this SoC is especially "un-open". So it won't ever be supported in the foreseeable fu
