TIFU by no doing research on my grinder

I hope you are talking about the c3 esp pro. The c3s pro would still struggle to get the detailed grind size adjustment needed for espresso. https://eightouncecoffee.ca/blogs/news/a-guide-to-the-timemore-c3-hand-grinder-collection

Budget Grinder

Hi, when i started out with my espresso journey (using Wacaco Picopresso), I opted for Timemore C3ESP manual coffee grinder with 23.3microns per adjustment. It was a good hand grinder. Grinds very fine and doesn't clog my picopresso. I had this setup for 2.5ish years. I have upgraded to a Bambino Pl

Which setting for Aeropress?

If you want good results (and not waste a lot of money in the process), get a decent but affordable hand grinder. You really don’t want to dial in your beans one store-ground 12 oz bag at a time. The TIMEMORE Chestnut C3 ESP Pro is a more than decent all-around grinder and can be yours for $72 right

I have doubts about the C3 SP Pro for Espresso

I do have this grinder. Make sure it’s correctly calibrated. While the C3 ESP Pro is a capable (I’d say mid-range) grinder, calibrating it can be iffy. You may have to unscrew and reattach the final plate several times to end of with a zero point close to the 0 mark. Only then can you reasonably use

How much better will a good grinder make my coffee?

Burr grinder makes a HUGE difference. You go from having zero control over grind size with a blade grinder to 100% control, and consistency between brews. Look at the Timemore range. I have the C3ESP. If you are considering a 6-cup Moka pot then check the volume of coffee grounds it needs and make s
