Timemore C2 - 3 yr review - I'd still recommend this now

thank you for the review, and I agree that the C2 was a nice grinder at its time but, now in 2026, it is much outdated, and can not be recommended anymore - mainly due to plastic in its body, which ages and tends to crack, after years of daily usage for a very similar money, Timemore has already rel

What hand grinder do you have for your Aeropress?

I started with the Timemore C2s and honestly really liked it. My two complaints were the internal adjustment and non-folding crank handle, but those were nitpicky and the handle I didn’t really notice it until I upgraded to the 1Zpresso J-Ultra. But I ONLY upgraded due to wanting a grinder capable o

Grinder suggestion

To save you from the curses you are gonna hear. I don't doubt that this could be useful but it's a non branded grinder with no guarantee for quality. If you can, I would suggest going just 1-2k higher and getting the timemore c2 or c2s grinder. If you absolutely can't, then I guess you can try but b

Help me enjoy better coffee at home!!

Timemore C2s, 4.5k. C3s 6k. Go for C3s if you have budget, solid build quality. I have the same If tight on budget, you can get Aashonee for 2.5k. don't go below that, pre-ground is better.

Low effort setup

If you arn’t an enthusiast, i would say just get the cheapest one. You can not go wrong with timemore and all the variants just got a few differences. Like differences between c2 and c2s is that cs2 is full metal with silicon pad on the bottom whereas c2 got high quality platic parts. But you c2 is

Kindly suggest a manual grinder under 5K. I've a machine for drip coffee

I don't think anyone would suggest a grinder below the Timemore C2/C3(s) series. The differences between the generations are minimal, but if you want a longer lasting grinder, I'd suggest getting either a C2S/C3S for their all metal construction.

Coffee grinder recommendations

Below 3000 there is an instacuppa one with steel burr. But not sure how that would be. If you are graduating from this one, you should probably go higher. If you are not making espresso, timemore c2 is the most value for money in the next segment. Timemore c3 is supposedly better with upgraded burrs

Suggest me some coffee grinder. But a little tight on budget.

Well good grinders start at about 4k, like the Timemore C2/C3 series. If you have the budget, I'd recommend getting either a C2S/C3S (they're also on sale now) as they are made out of only metal and would last longer than C2/C3. 6k would probably get you the 1zpresso Q Air which is generally better
