Don't buy from Poppy and Peonies
While you’re boosting one Swedish company, also Thule. Their bags are awesome. A little more urban utilitarian. I have a chasm backpack & duffle. Both my partner and I also have a EnRoute.

Tom Bihn vs. Osprey
Great comparison + review, thanks for sharing! I also love a water bottle pocket and have been surprised by how few packs I see these days seem to have them. I have a thule chasm and a foldie that both have a 40L max volume. The thule is so much heavier when empty; just a lot of bulk, but the straps

Every Day Use Comfortable Laptop Backpack
Thule has some great options in there! The Subterra lineup is also nice for a more "profressional look", but all the products I used from them were always great.I use a Subterra Hybrid for EDC/1-2 day travel (not the comfiest backpack, but it still works).I have a travel Bag/Backpack from the Crossov

Colorful & Functional Backpack Recs Please!!
For truly functional... Try Cotopaxi, or THESE or THESE Rover Classics by Topo Designs. The Osprey Daylight 26+6 has a pretty enthusiastic fan base. Or Thule makes a few more low key, mild-colored laptop bags like the Aion, the Subterra 2 or the Chasm that are great bags, functionally.

Help Me Find this or Closest to it
Funny. My wife had this pack as well. It might be the Nova if not Nebula. Hers also needed to be replaced last year and I got her a Thule Chasm 26L. It definitely doesn't have as many pocket, and no stuff sac thing on the outside, but she seems to really like it. Happy anniversary!

Traveling Japan in early summer when the weather is nice setup
My backpack is a discontinued Karrimor model, so it's probably impossible to find. I think I’d prefer a simple backpack with just one compartment rather than one with side pockets. Also, you might already know this, but airline staff may consider thick shoulder pads or waist belts to be oversized ca

Help finding a versatile personal item bag with a good top pocket for plane access
Funny enough I had the raven 28 but I felt it was kinda heavy(?) and I was missing out on luggage pass-through l, I ended up selling it a couple of weeks ago actually. Honestly I really like how the venture ready looks and I've been looking at the Thule chasm, looks pretty similar and cheaper as wel

College student (25 M) looking to replace backpack for daily student essentials + potentially carrying gym clothes as well
Thule enroute 26 or 30L. Not too expensive, color options. You can easily fit all your computing in the 26 and two changes of clothes, a water bottle, and the mesh pocket up front maybe lets you put a towel or flip flops. The 30 can even let you put your shoes inside if you want. If you choose the b
