It seems like you'll be fine with as little as 26liters or so. If you're a smaller person you would do well to keep the backpack as small as possible because large backpacks on small frames are uncomfortable and usually not very good looking. Lots of pockets but also lots of space is difficult when you're trying to have a single pack for both EDC and trips because the pocket space takes away from the main compartment space and makes it less flexible. I would recommend rethinking how you pack bags, many people in this backpack dweeb world
