I'm distinguishing between the sleeve within the main compartment of the 2DAP and something like the TNF Surge where there's a different zipper and it has depth whether you put a computer in it or not. I found it much harder to use that backpack for odd-shaped stuff, like my lunch.

I think it's a good pack for almost anyone. I like the layout. It was a TNF Surge Transit that got me into the backpack addiction, so the surge holds a soft spot in my heart.
