Best Drip Coffee Maker
This is one question that doesn't seem to go away... Reddit has a serious hard on for the Technivorm Moccamaster, but I'm going to give you another recommendation - Bonavita. I own both, and both are SCA-certified and brew excellent coffee. However, the Bonavita wins for me for the following reasons

grind size/coffee to water ratio
I'll probably get hate mail for this, but for me the Moccamaster produces uneven extraction. I can close my basket (KBT) so to "fix" the issue, I do 3 cups of water to 18g coffee, let it steep 4.5 minutes and drain into a mug. perfect eveytime :)

Half pot help .
My sister has the Moccamaster KBT, and she claims the same problem....full pots taste noticeably better than smaller batches...(she says "yes" that she changes the switch to lower the outflow on half batches). She is not a coffee maniac, but she can adjust coffee/water ratio. She says nothing she's t
