First day with my nearly new KBGV
My KGBV Select is due next week. I have a Turin df54 and a Kingrinder K6 hand grinder. It will probably take a bag or two of beans to find the right grinder setting. I've heard the Moccamaster can be finicky about grind size.

Are drip coffee makers essentially all the same?
I bought the moccamaster KBGV Select today and just had my first cup of coffee and it tasted like s***. So disappointed. I guess I have to play around with grind size and water amounts. LOL was hoping this would be simple.

KBGV select vs variable drip flow basket for half pot
The general consensus is that it’s hard to make a good half pot on a moccamaster, I have the select and when making a half-pot (with the half-pot switch) I end up with high ratios or relatively fine grinds to make it better.
