You could go for something price-wise that falls in between your two lists (@ $3965), but will perform the same as the more expensive one with a 9800X3D and 5080. In your second list, you added some more expensive parts that aren’t going to provide any performance benefit in games. If you wanted, yo

A few comments: 64GB of RAM is more than needed for gaming, plus the specs are not good (6000mhz CL30 is the ideal). More RAM typically won't help, while worse specs will have an effect. The 7800X3D is a very low power draw CPU (one of the lowest under gaming loads), so a 360mm AIO is unnecessary. N

The motherboard is very expensive for no benefit, while you won't need Windows Pro for your purposes. Suggestions below that improve performance with a 5080 plus provide better airflow for $200 less. CPU Cooler: Much less expensive 360mm AIO with aRGB. It's overkill for the 9800X3D, but helps fill o

A bit too much in my opinion Would get a cheaper X870 board or just a simpler B650/B850 board and also i would recommend getting something else than ASRock as they have some major bios issues I would also get cheaper ram, either 6000Mhz CL30-32 or if 6400Mhz CL30-32 is similarly priced then thats ok

You can buy SSDs with heatsinks already mounted on them. My go-to is the Teamgroup G70 Pro since it has DRAM Cache, and you can buy it either with an aluminum heat sink or just a graphene sticker that doubles as a heat spreader. I pretty much always buy the graphene one. Edit: I forgot some companie

Both Orico drives use random flash chips, including QLC flash. Avoid them. (Also avoid the Kingston NV3, Crucial P3 Plus/P310, or any Silicon Power for the same reason.) The difference between the 990 EVO Plus and the G70 Pro is that the latter has DRAM cache. They have the same price because of the

Suggestions below that upgrade the CPU to a 9800X3D and the GPU to a 5080 for just $170 more, still keeping an AIO, aquarium style case, plenty of aRGB, plus some other improvements. CPU: Upgraded to the 9800X3D. Won't provide a large difference in performance (only about 3% better at 1440p based on

Check if other DRAM drives like the TeamGroup G70 Pro or SK Hynix Platinum P41 are cheaper.
