Have you thought about getting another camera to position better? You can get a TP-Link Tapo camera that's solar powered for like $50. Can be hosted locally too without a subscription, just drop in a microSD card and you don't have to worry about any sort of additional subscription to store the vide

Ongoing “Ding Dong Ditch” harassment
Just dealt with the same problem, we got a doorbell camera, id highly recommend it, its a TP-link Tapo camera, cheap enough off amazon and if you buy an SD card for storage you dont have to pay for any subscription services. Fortunately for us its a decent enough estate and I managed to spot one of

Thoughts on AI use?
I have multiple non AI cameras and honestly I have no interest in the petlibro AI camera even though I love their products. My TAPO cameras detect if my cats are meowing and they are set up in strategic places so I can keep track of their drinking, eating and litterbox habits. They cost about 20€ to

Thieves in garden checking bike, anyone know immediate steps i should take?
Change the security light to one with an audible chime. A security light will not deter a thief at 3am, but noise may well do. I have a Tapo camera inside the garage that sounds an alarm if set off during an out of hours schedule and also alerts my phone. It was only £20 but is indoor only. I’m sure

House alarm
Just get a standard house alarm and buy the cameras and SD card storage separately, it’s much cheaper. If you get a house alarm system that includes cameras, you’ll usually need to pay a monthly subscription for video storage and camera maintenance. But if you buy the cameras and storage yourself it

Has anyone used Secuview for home security in Qatar? Looking for feedback.
The best is to just get a lot of Tapo Cameras connect them wherever you want and connect them to wifi, then connect them all to a machine with "Frigate" installed on it, then you have all the data and recording and AI features and detection and it's very reliable and most impotantly, free 😄

My honest review about Tapo camera
I use only one device and that is my mobile phone. The only better indoor camera was C250 but the price was $60 and I bought C230 for $38. The price difference between Reolink ($45) and Tapo ($38) was very low but the only reason was the seller hadn't any E1 Pro.

Looking for a good wireless security camera system.
Have more than 20 TP-Link Tapo cameras, wireless, RTSP and writing to SD card as well. Cheap and works great but all related on your wifi configuration - I have several APs as the house is big so bandwidth is distributed among them.

What’s the general consensus of Tapo cameras?
Detection on the solar cameras has an incredibly short range and is slow and unreliable. The solar cameras are heavily biased towards saving the battery with very little control to change it. The wired cameras have better detection but still not great. The cameras do not work with each other or with
