G6 PTZ - Huge letdown

I had a Tapo C520WS out back that tracked animals and people. It tracked better than the G5 PTZ that replaced it. I got rid it for several reasons. Their software limits you to one stream at a time. So when I had it recording to Surveillance Station, it wouldn't show in the Tapo app. I could add it

Tapo H500 with 16TB HDD storage

I’ve tried several brands side by side and Tapo is in my opinion by far the best brand, most stable connection, best performing app, least fals alarms, good image quality in all lighting conditions, etc. That’s why I went all in with this entire setup. I have everything wireless and it works flawles

Video Cams / Omada

They all do? The Omada is just providing network access. FWIW I like the Tapo series, they’re pretty stable and fast. I’ve got a few c520ws (2k)for outdoors and some c200? (1080p) for inside, and two d130 doorbells. They’re faster than the Wyze cams they replaced and MUCH faster than the blink doorb

Useless!!! I paid for Cam Plus and it never recorded this theft (human detection). I had to review 3 hours of footage on my SD Card. Will NOT be renewing my subscription in August!

I'll be honest - I'm not certain. It memory serves the OG is similar to a C120 maybe. Tapo has easy naming. The higher the number the better, so the ones that look like the OG are C1xx with C110 < C120 < C130 and so on. Add one numeral for black instead of white, so C110 white, C111 black. At least

FYI: C246D cannot change FPS

C520WS (large sensor, pan, spotlights, ir, etc) has 30fps, so do C210 and C110. All of them have 30fps and the ai detection is no better on the new ones I'm referencing. So cost and target audience shouldn't play a part. The C110's are about $15 in a 4-pack and the C520ws were $50-60 when I got them

Dahua PTZ with AI Port

It can be assigned to multiple cameras, but you can't mix and match ONVIF and Unifi. It's one or the other. I think you can use it for 5 (?) Unifi cams that don't have advanced AI, like maybe a G4 Instant. You can use it for multiple ONVIF cams, but only one 4k, or two 2k, or (I think) 3 or 4 HD cam
