I have had my UDR7 for about 8 months now. It replaced a Synology RT2600ac. I was going to just upgrade to a RT6600ac and stay with what had worked well. Glad I didn't. The UDR7 is so much more. Synology setup, their older devices 2x RT2600ac and MR2200, good enough for home networking. Faster than needed. The main RT2600ac can be setup to use two providers and switch as needed (I run load balance 60:40 so it splits bandwidth between the two networks).

Do the full SRM reinstall rather than just a reset. On the RT2600ac, hold the Reset button about 10 seconds until the second beep to enter "Mode 2", then use Synology Web Assistant to reinstall SRM and set it up offline.
