Saan kayo nagbaback up ng pictures and files pag puno na ang memory ng cellphone niyo?
I got a DS1522+ which is a 5 bay. Tho as of now i only use 3 bays. This was 55k sa Shopee. Then 8300 per 12tb hdd Seagate Ironwolf. Shopee din. I suggest getting at least 3 bay para you can make use of the RAID function. Meaning if one drive crashes or gets corrupted, everything is recoverable. Down

NAS for someone who already has a VM machine
I do homelabbing and have tons of VMs and containers, but for an NAS I valued brand reputation and "it just works". Went with a Synology DS1522+, of which I'm only using 3 bays right now. Anyhoo -- I'd recommend Synology or UGREEN, the former being the more established but now riskier brand due to r

Kodi Build install Issue
Ya I built one with HDDs a little over a year ago. I was out of the scene for a decade. Should have done some more research but was too excited and gung ho. Got a Synology ds1522+ love it but could have built something better for cheaper lol

Brace yourself - Software is definitely not ready for general public!
Going all in, I love it. I have a DS1522+ that I have running two 16TB Synology Drives that I will keep running. UGreen is my primary unit. It's so easy to use and "just works" for my needs. I have about 80TBs on it. I got the Orico because I wanted to get into ZFS without going TruNAS, but I may en

TOS vs DSM
Currently running both DS1522+ with DSM7.3 and TM F4-424MAX with TOS7 and I really love the hardware/software package. There’s no doubt that Synology/DSM has certain advantages over TM, but for the money, the value and ease of use really has TerraMaster being pretty competitive in many of it’s model

Ugreen 5 Bay USB C RAID Hard Drive Enclosure
I own a Synology DS1522+ and when I first thought about adding a $500 expansion box, for the money, I just decided to buy an additional nas. I like the idea of having another 4-5 bay nas that can do a lot more than just a box that can only do one thing for a similar price.

Synology vs alternatives for a first, family-friendly NAS – worth it?
Even if your switch is 10 GbE, the NAS is the bottleneck • DS923+ – plus optional 10 GbE card • DS1522+ – plus optional 10 GbE card • DS1618+ – plus 10 GbE card • DS1819+ – plus 10 GbE card Above safe example for support 10GbE. If you buy 725+ 925+ latest. It won’t worth at all with 10GbE. I mean yo

Q: Mac Mini Storage for Tons of Pics 2TB or cloud/external?
Well, this is a Mac thread so I won't "drag" you into the NAS world, but it all started some 4 yeas ago toward the end of the pandemic: my son had been using a Synology NAS since he and his family (4 young kids) had one at home. Having a NAS allowed him to control where they can go on the internet,

I have a couple Synology units.DS1522+ (5 bay)DS718+ (2 bay)I'm probably going to use hyper backup on those to keep 2nd copies of everything on the unas.I ran into a failed drobo situation a couple years ago and had to do data recovery and I don't want to get in that situation again! Yes I should ha
