Bought my first AR -Diamondback DB15
Ditch the Amazon light and laser. Get a Streamlight HLX. Make sure the mags are Magpul PMags or Lancer L5s. Metal mags are kinda whatever, they generally all work. Don't waste your time or money upgrading the BCG unless it fails. Charging handles are more of a preference thing, but any decent qualit

New AR owner looking for advice
For a sling, I recommend the Blue Force vicker’s padded sling. Super reliable, easy to use, and a common manual of arms. For lights, I’d recommend Streamlight as a good middle level quality/price option. If you may need the light outdoors, go for a high candela version like the ProTac HL-X with 1k lu

Looking For Flashlight Recs
This, I have the Streamlight 88126 ProTac HL-X Pro. I've used it at several night training events and it works great for me. I think it's about $150 on amazon.

Need recommendations for a budget friendly tac light for an AR
For a little bit more, you can get a Streamlight ProTac HL-X. Primary Arms has it on sale for $119.99. At Premium Select Supplies, it's $123.96 with code STREAM15, but it might be cheaper from them out the door (vs. Primary Arms) when you factor in tax and shipping. I bought one from them in Decembe

After a year of planning, I own one. Need practice ammo and next accessory?
Your buddy is dumb for laughing at the idea of a light since you’re planning on having this for home defense. You can’t shoot what you can’t see… Streamlight is usually the recommendation as far as quality versus price. They’re reliable and if you shop around/wait a bit you can usually find a Pro Ta

Going to my first gun show. Any tips?
weapon lights for my ARs. Go buy a Streamlight ProTac HLX off whichever online vendor has it the cheapest. Chances are that whatever you find at a gunshow that is cheap, is just rebranded cheapo Amazon knock offs or counterfeits, anything that is good will be overpriced.

MPX SDK
That thing looks ridiculously clean already, the compact setup with the tucked can has such a good balance to it. For lights I’d probably lean Surefire Mini Scout or Modlite PLHv2 if you want something bombproof, but honestly a Streamlight HLX Pro would fit the vibe and save you a few hundred bucks

For the night dudes on a budget
Can also get a streamlight hlx pro for about that much with a decent mount included, as well as a tape switch (tape switch is ass though). I have one on my main rifle.
