Ergonomic chair or Gaming chair ? Why not both ?

A car is a horrible comparison, the best car you can buy for long term reliability is a Toyota, not a Ferrari. And while sure, something like the Secretlab Titan is going to be more comfortable than a $50 office chair, that doesn’t change the fact that the chair is shit value at $500 MSRP. You can g

Steelcase Series 1 - Secondhand

Hi Steelcase employee here. Series 1 is a great intro chair IMO. Biggest downside this chair has is limitations in adjustment. If you're a solid postured individual, this probably isn't a concern for you. If you tend to lean or contort yourself in the chair, the chair won't support you as well. I wi

A cégünk uj irodai székeket akar beszerezni. Tudtok adni tippeket nektek mi vált be?

How good is the Gispen ZINN Smart ergonomics-wise?

i sat in a Herman Miller Aeron for years and honestly, office chairs are super personal. The Gispen is a solid Dutch brand, but comfort depends on your body. what helped me when i was chair shopping was looking at adjustable lumbar support and seat depth. If you're curious about the higher-end feel,

Illustrator Here, This is My 2026 Setup Vs. My 2025 Setup, Any thoughts about what ergonomics to add?

yeah for drawing all day i’d probably think about the chair before chasing smaller desk accessories. curious if people here would put nouhaus ergo3d in the same conversation as steelcase series 1 for long illustration sessions, or if the safer move is still the more traditional office-chair route.

Favorite ergonomic WFH desk chair?

I have the Aeron and it’s good but of course it’s expensive. If I’m spending my own money on it I’d go Steelcase Series 1, simply based on Consumer Reports reviews and the $500 price point is an easier sell than those rated similarly ($1200-$2000)

5'4’’ and looking for a chair that actually fits. narrowed it down to 3 options.

Seat depth matters a lot. Steelcase Series 1 is probably the safest ergonomic choice for smaller frames. Says looks great but can be less comfortable for long hours. Not sure about Musso, so I’d be cautious. Main thing: go for adjustable seat depth and good lumbar support.

Moving away from race car design

The Steelcase Series 1seems like a better fit for what they need. Comfort is key, especially if they're going to be spending long hours in it the Secretlab options also seem promising, but it’s always a gamble with padding on those.

Can anyone recommend a comfortable chair for long hours of remote work that doesn’t break the bank?

The Branch Ergonomic Chair isn’t bad for the price, but if you sit for a long time, you might want to check out the steelcase Series 1. It has good support and adjusts to different body types, which helps a lot. If you’re not sure, try ergonomicchairfinder They’ve got other options and user reviews
