Ergonomic mesh office chairs are overrated

Not all ergonomic chairs are created equal. You actually have to adjust the chair to your body and sit properly. No chair works for everyone. Herman Miller Aeron is great for me, but a Mira 2 kills my back, and I hated the Steelcase Leaps they had at my last job. Ergonomic chairs are not supposed to

I bought a Steelcase Leap but quickly realized the Aeron would’ve been better for how much I fart in my chair. The mesh is more aerodynamic

Beds are overrated

53 and if I have to sleep anywhere other than my own bed I'm waking up with so much pain. I used to sleep wherever in my 20s and it wouldn't bother me, back of a van, stranger's house, pub floor, etc. I feel like my poor sleeping and exercise habits when I was in my 20s and in a band may be partiall

Will the production Maxis fix the "no locking armrest" issue?

To be honest, the arms on the Pro seem fine. Perhaps they move forward and backward a bit too easy, but there is some resistance there, and I haven’t had them move left, right, or rotate any accidentally at all. My Steelcase Leap armrests move more accidentally.

I have the SE and the Pro. You can ask me specific questions.

I'm not tall at 5 foot 6, but heavy at over 200 pounds so which model should I get for seat bottom comfort without bottoming out or hurting my ass and what seat bottom depth should I choose? Does the pro or maxis have a thicker seat bottom than the se? I know my steelcase leap v2 not only murders my

suggest me a good ergonomic chair for petite women please

Silly question here, but is there some secret to getting it lower? I'm 5'1" and just got a Steelcase Leap V2, and (adjusted as low as I can seem to get it) my feet are still at least an inch away from the ground. My guess is that I just have exceptionally short legs, but I'm a bit frustrated after s

Need urgent advice before I pull the trigger

OP, go out there and try out the chair rather than just buying it. Of course the price is very less, but sit, take a feel for 15 to 20 minutes, understand how does your back adjust to the chair. I made the mistake of buying a Steelcase Leap V2 recently because it was coming at a good price. I had te

Recommendations for standing desk and ergonomic chair ? #IT #Professional

My HM chairs (Verrus and Sayl) have been incredible for my back pain. We had a Steelcase Leap that wasn't so hot, so it really depends on your personal geometry. If you don't want to spend that much, I'd highly recommend Merryfair (we have one, it's a tank!).

What is a 'buy it for life' item that is offensively expensive, but the moment you use it, you realize your entire life before that point was a lie?

I had always heard people recommend the Steelcase Leap V2 as an alternative to the Herman Miller Aeron. My work uses Aerons and when I started working from home, the only thing I could find was a used Leap V2. It is fine, but everytime I go into the office I curse myself for buying it over the Aeron

Guitar friendly office chairs?

The Aeron is pretty uniquely terrible for guitar playing due to its unconventional design. Great office chair, bad guitar chair. That said just about any other more traditional office chair with removable arms will work, just check to make sure the arms are fully removable. For example the popular S
