Ergonomic mesh office chairs are overrated
Not all ergonomic chairs are created equal. You actually have to adjust the chair to your body and sit properly. No chair works for everyone. Herman Miller Aeron is great for me, but a Mira 2 kills my back, and I hated the Steelcase Leaps they had at my last job. Ergonomic chairs are not supposed to

I bought a Steelcase Leap but quickly realized the Aeron would’ve been better for how much I fart in my chair. The mesh is more aerodynamic

Chair cylinder rubbing carpet
Steelcase cylinders ride low to support shorter users. With time, they tend to push even lower and rub on cut pile carpets. My Leaps both have this issue. Yours should clear a hard chair mat without any problems, but if not, you can see if BTOD can help you out, or just get taller caster wheels for

Best Office Chair Brand Right Now In 2026?
It’s a bit frustrating reading through these replies, because it feels like people are just operating on auto-pilot and giving the default subreddit answers without actually reading the post. The OP explicitly stated their Steelcase foam cushion went flat, they are tired of it, and they specifically

Beds are overrated
53 and if I have to sleep anywhere other than my own bed I'm waking up with so much pain. I used to sleep wherever in my 20s and it wouldn't bother me, back of a van, stranger's house, pub floor, etc. I feel like my poor sleeping and exercise habits when I was in my 20s and in a band may be partiall

Looking for my first non gaming chair and these are the two I’ve seen so far that are affordable enough for me if anyone has any different recommendations let me know
I sometimes wonder if there's a PR campaign going on. Maybe not the majority of comments but perhaps a fair bit to influence the group-think. Just speculation though. Personally I found the top brands to be underwhelming. Sitting on Steelcase Think and before Okamura Baron (Japanese premium brand),

It's also cool in summer. I get so hot with my parter's Steelcase leap when I use that for an hour or 2. On the other hand, I can sit in my aeron all day.

Embody Gaming..
The leap stock seat cushion is abysmal and one of its fatal flaw. Not to sure what Steelcase was thinking there.

How many of you use the steelcase leap? (I’m 5’7” and have some upper and lower back pain) looking at getting one that I found on sale brand new!
Bought brand new last year. Had to wait a month as the chair was on made to order. There is a local steelcase factory locally here. Paid 50% off than the retail price, it was on promotion. I hate it. Same height as you. The recline is not smooth, but you can feel a bit of its plasticky friction as y

suggest me a good ergonomic chair for petite women please
Silly question here, but is there some secret to getting it lower? I'm 5'1" and just got a Steelcase Leap V2, and (adjusted as low as I can seem to get it) my feet are still at least an inch away from the ground. My guess is that I just have exceptionally short legs, but I'm a bit frustrated after s
