Chair cylinder rubbing carpet
Steelcase cylinders ride low to support shorter users. With time, they tend to push even lower and rub on cut pile carpets. My Leaps both have this issue. Yours should clear a hard chair mat without any problems, but if not, you can see if BTOD can help you out, or just get taller caster wheels for

Best Office Chair Brand Right Now In 2026?
It’s a bit frustrating reading through these replies, because it feels like people are just operating on auto-pilot and giving the default subreddit answers without actually reading the post. The OP explicitly stated their Steelcase foam cushion went flat, they are tired of it, and they specifically

Can't decide - have you tried any of these?
You said you're coming from an executive style chair. All these chairs would be a torture device for your butt to a varying degrees. Still boggles my mind how a decently padded chair would affect you negatively. I have a Steelcase Leap V2, which is arguably more padded than the rest of the bunch, an

Was it a good deal? 40€
Is it a good deal? Yes Is it a great chair? It's ok, but no, not really. It's borderline between an ergonomic office chair and a task chair. This is entry level Steelcase and would usually be used in places like a boardroom where you will be using it for a limited time only. Not somewhere that you w

Going insane trying to find a good chair.
I’ve had a Steelcase Leap for 18 years. Just replaced it for a Leap V2. The original one started creaking too loud!

Leap v2 warped back. Return it?
Leaps are well known for this unfortunately. They will naturally look slightly assymetrical because of the lumbar adjustment being assymetrical. Steelcase says that's normal and they tell you that once you learn into the chair you won't feel it, HOWEVER many if them do twist/warp over time and you D

Remanufactured Leap v2 having rust
I've never seen rust on any steelcase and my office has literally thousands. I'd be pretty annoyed. That's because you aren't crawling around the office on your hands and knees and looking up at the underside of the seat on Leap V2s and Amias.

I own the two popular chairs in this sub
How would you really know it's better than the Omni unless you've tried both? Unlike you, I have both chairs, and the Leap v2 sucks lol. I agree that Steelcase is a proven company with years of good customer support, and that the Omni is from a company with sketchy customer service. This is complete

I need a chair guru
In that price range, you’ll be looking for a used chair on FB Marketplace or your local garage sale site. Check out the Steelcase website and decide which you like best, (Gesture, Amia, or Leap), then watch the garage sale sites like a hawk. You’re at the very top end of the weight range for even th

So how comfy is the libernovo omni chair really?
Personally I would never consider one. Company too young, not enough data about long-term quality, product support and so on. What I have seen is chairs falling apart and no support from them, people returning chairs because it wasn't for them and service just doesn't respond anymore. I am no Herman
