Herman miller vs Steelcase?

Best you can do is read reviews pick one and try it out and return if you don’t like it. For example. I’m 6’1” and 210lbs with a more athletic build. I tried all the steelcase ones at a dealer and my boss had a Herman miller aeron I tried. I HATED the aeron, gesture and amia. The leap on the other h

Need advice on a few options fern, aeron, mirra 2

I think just the seat is leather/pleather- based on photos- but I second your warning about leatherback ferns. I’ve sat in the vegan leather seat and liked it though it did get a bit warm. My understanding is that the leather backs can have more issues with stretching/and remaining securely fit to t

Steelcase Leap V2 vs Haworth Fern???

I wholeheartedly disagree. As someone who's owned every chair mentioned here and more, the Haworth Fern Digital Knit has been my favorite and daily driver for almost 2 years. This is over in-home office test drives of the Aeron Chair, Aeron Gaming Chair, Embody Chair, Embody Gaming Chair, Mirra 2 Ch

Herman Miller Embody chair: negative Experience after 6 weeks of daily use (8-10h/day)

Ive had the luxury to sit on most common recommended chairs from both Herman Miller and Steelcase from my current and previous job in an office work setting. The Embody did not particularly fit well with me as well but didnt cause discomfort. The worst chair I ever used was the Steelcase Gesture. Th

Not One Of Those Miracle Deal Gesture Finds But...

That was a big fear as I was seriously contemplating it against the Gesture, especially since I have thicc hamstrings and calves, I figured after a full day of working in one it would probably hurt.

Steelcase Leap v2 is not for me, what next?

Omg, reading this post felt like a mirror. I have very similar body height and, in my opinion more importantly, weight as you. I tried both the Leap v2 and Gesture but suffer from the exact same problem of the lumbar feeling too pronounced and getting sciatica pain in my right leg. It feels so nice

Struggling to find decent chair in Europe, what are my options?

I fixed my rock-hard Steelcase Gesture seat

I really wish they would fix this issue. I purchased my Gesture in 2021 and have already gone through two replacement seats that Steelcase provided. The discomfort became so severe that I recently had to stop using the chair altogether and switch to a generic spare office chair that I got from work

Good quality executive chair suggestions

So after posting this and no replies, I did a lot of research and reading other similar posts here. Basically it seemed everyone said that having a plush office chair that was comfortable was an oxymoron, because the cushioning is too soft, so you just sink through it. That to be comfortable, you ne

What did you think was pretentious, until you tried it and realized it was worth it?

On another note: Steelcase gesture sucks. 1000 dollar chair. Insanely uncomfortable. The armrests are great though. I had to buy multiple cushions to make it decent. My 100 dollar Staples chair is miles better than the Gesture.
