Best Office Chair Brand Right Now In 2026?
HM Embody or Steelcase Gesture. HM-E for WFH & SC-G for Office. As someone with back issues, I personally do enjoy the embody more, my only con is the arm rests could be a bit more adjustable like the Gesture. Otherwise the seat while it looks 'flat' the springs underneath have amazing support. IMO,

What chair do u use
i went through this hunt last year. for upright aiming the aeron size B is perfect but used might stretch your budget. the steelcase leap v2 can be found under 500 used and has amazing lumbar support without forcing you back. also check ergonomic office chair for new options under 400. skip the gest

It's almost perfect... too bad I'll have to return it
I just measured the distance from the seat to the top of the armrest, for both my old Steelcase Gesture chair and Libernovo. Libernovo: 7" Gesture: 5.5" So there is a big difference between the two! But also, as I explained, you need the arm rest to be lower if you're reclining. This is a universal

Steelcase amia validity + opinions
I like Steelcase's 4D arm rests (adds pivot to height, width, and depth), and because I was able to test them thoroughly in my office, it seemed like a good choice. I considered the Gesture, but it was too expensive. Also, reliable second-hand/refurbished options for Steelcase chairs in Canada was (

Comparing the most talked about chairs in each category
I'm 6'3'' 260 lbs for reference. I've owned the Steelcase Gesture V1 almost since it's launched. Also have owned a Secretlab Titan Evo for a while as well and have used both quite extensively at my home desk. I've recently purchased a Elabest x100 for my in-office chair and just the the Herman Mille

Decision Paralysis: Herman Miller Mirra 1 or Steelcase Gesture
Agree, the Gesture really don't have much to offer for me and I don't even know if the 4D arms are going to be of much use for my case.

Struggling to find decent chair in Europe, what are my options?
What did you think was pretentious, until you tried it and realized it was worth it?
On another note: Steelcase gesture sucks. 1000 dollar chair. Insanely uncomfortable. The armrests are great though. I had to buy multiple cushions to make it decent. My 100 dollar Staples chair is miles better than the Gesture.

Why I sold my Libernovo Omni after a month. Hopefully helps those on the fence to see if it's right for you
I'm not surprised that you sold the Gesture. Not that I've tried it, but seeing videos of people using it, it doesn't look that comfortable. Interesting choice on the Karman. I hadn't heard of that chair and had to look into it. My main gripe with Steelcase is the arm rests don't really follow you a

Tiny person desperately needs a new chair
I am actually leaning towards SecretLab titan evo in small now as I realized €1400 is way out of my budget right now and the rest of Steelcase Gesture didn't appeal to me (only the armrests). What do you think of the seat cushion? I've heard SecretLab seats can be pretty firm. Also, how adjustable i
