If you want to try having the machine in/near your lap, then look into lap boards/desks built for office chairs. They simply rest on the arms but this lets you look at the $100-200 range of office chairs. I like the Staples Hyken.

Yeah bro that's what you need to fix, not the desk lol. My advice is to avoid "gaming" chairs and just buy a mesh office chair. I bought the staples hyken for like 120$ and I've had it for like 5 years. It's overall pretty durable and comfy aside from the cushion at the front that's kinda messed up.

ngl the pain from a dead chair is brutal. i ran into that last year with a flattened cushion. for your height and back issues, skip gaming chairs entirely - they're mostly marketing. look at ergonomic office chairs with adjustable seat depth and pneumatic height. the Clatina Mellet or Staples Hyken

I have had issues with the last few chairs and then got a new one at staples ( hyken ) and has resolved all the chair and sitting issues.
