edit actually, I see now that those are Voron builds with green accents, not the ratrig vcore. So I guess feedback would mostly pertain to sovol performance I'm currently going back and forth between a RatRig Vcore and Sovol SV08 Max, in search of a 500mm build volume. Since you appear to run both,

Press F for respect
It was a great feeling that immediately after assembling my Sovol SV08 Max I had successfully printed something where as my CR-10 S5 took disgusting amounts of effort to print anything even bad quality and still required upgrades to get marginally better results.

Understanding "open source" and bambu printer
You know I picked up an SV08 recently because the deals were just amazing. But as I researched, it seemed like I was going to have to replace the probe, hotend, extruder, do some kind of jury-rigging to make the bed flat, etc. Turns out it works great right out of the box. I'm replacing the hotend j

Looking at getting a new printer either a Voron 2.4 or Sovol SV08. Want opinions.
Well you're certainly never going to beat the upgradeability of a Voron. But in most other ways... It sounds like you want to go with the SV08. Particularly with your desired price point and hopes for something relatively plug and play. I went straight from an Anycubic i3 Mega S to building a 2.4 St

Coming from P1S, advice/pros and cons for the SV08 3D Printer
I've had the SV08 since it launched and the comments you listed are correct. Only other things I'm going to add are an R3Men or Voron bed if desired and Demon Klipper Essential macros to make things easy

New SOVOL tool changer teased.
I also recently bought a SV08 Max, but I'm not worried. Don't think the teased model will be as large. Also, I think it is likely that someone will figure out a way to upgrade our SV08 Max printers with INDX!

Got a new Shoemaking Tool: Bambu Lab H2D 3D Printer
I'll throw my hat in the ring and say the SV08 by Sovol is also worth considering. It's an OSH printer forked from the Voron 2.4 350mm, meaning it has the same print volume as the H2D. I've had mine for about a year now and it's been pretty fantastic. The amount of features on it are hard to enumera

Im ready!! ...and doubtful. Advice?
The included 2209 drivers should work wonderfully. The sv08 goes for US $534 now and is a good buy. I do not have that printer meself but you should not return it, I would personally flash normal Klipper and just test drive it for a while before throwing more $$ at it, even if upgrading is much fun

Coming from P1S, advice/pros and cons for the SV08 3D Printer
Since you're coming from the Bambu line, the biggest thing to understand about the sv08 (and really most other printers) is the distinct lack of integration. Sovols version of Makerworld /Handy simply does not exist. Orcaslicer will look a little familiar, as Bambu forked Orca (part of their recent
