Wireless headphones would be a good stopgap. Anker Soundcore Q20i are on a very deep sale now at least in my market (Even come in a cute pink colour) unfortunately Digital Audio Players that support Spotify are more expensive than cheap phones.

Tried Soundcore Q20i on a wired Connection and with Bluetooth with ANC. Same song on Apple Music Lossless.

There’s a major difference in the sound separation. I could clearly hear every instrument. At least the vocals and instruments were not mixing up at all.

I hope I’m not hallucinating.
