I'm in the market for a budget mirrorless myself and I must say this camera isn't worth 50k. For one thing, Samsung NX cameras are long dead and it's next to impossible to find NX mount lenses. You seem to have the standard 18-55 kit lens, which isn't exactly great. Second of all, Sony A5000 is supe

I’ve been eyeballing a lot of older Sonys (a5000/a6000 era). They don’t look very vintage, but with lenses and edits, the pictures can absolutely produce vintage vibes.

A teen girl probably isn't going to want to carry around a bulky older DSLR. Look for the small mirrorless cameras. Maybe a Sony a5000 or if you score a deal on an a6000. Also micro four thirds cameras by Olympus and Panasonic. That's how I got started and they have nice small lenses and bodies. May

That's ..painfully expensive. It really isn't very hard to scan yourself using a simple digital camera / macro lens. Base cost probably $300 (if you don't have any camera yet) or $150 if you have a body, but no macro lens & no film holder. There are various kits with film holder, light panel & vario

I think people care too much about the camera body when really anything that fits your budget is fine, i saw a person make a short film with a £20 camcorder from Ebay and it was so moving and I personally liked the quality better than a phone screen where everything is overly sharp and the colours a

Yes of course. I would say the Sony A5000 is a fine camera. Try and find one that’s selling with the kit lens. That’s good enough to start. Canon is a very good camera brand (they all are at this point) but they do not let as many manufacturers use their lens mounts (or license them, I can’t remembe

Yes I meant secondhand, marketplace items. Sony NEX up to a5000. Canon EOS M, M10 or M100. There are also a lot of m43 cameras. On blackfriday R100 was around 320$ brand new so eventually a bored teenager will sell it for 250$ saying their iPhone takes better photos. Anything that is not a 360 camer

Pretty much any half decent DSLR or mirrorless camera released in the last 20 years or so has higher dynamic range than any consumer monitor so is suitable to produce proper HDR photos. For example, my Sony a5000, which I bought for like £200 ten or so years ago records 13 stops of dynamic range as

Regarding your question about cameras, I would sit down and figure out what you think you really want out of a camera. You can get some really nice DSLR and older mirrorless cameras for reasonable prices second-hand. I have a Sony a5000 as my first real camera and a 70-210mm OSS lens for my first te

You’re going to have to compromise a lot more, whether it be budget, range/type of shooting, or features. The type of shooting you’re looking to do unfortunately spans most if not all focal ranges. For landscape you’re looking at around 20mm focal length and for wildlife that will be 250mm+. You wil
