It honestly depends on what you shoot, and what you are comparing it to. I had an original Z5 for about 3 years before going with the Z5II. The AF system with the original Z5 was much more reliable than my prior mirrorless cameras of Sony A5000, Panasonic GX85, Canon M5/M100 and Fuji X-S10. Compared

I want to take better photos with my Sony A5000 Better in what way(s)? Maybe it's up to you rather than the equipment. the Pixel 9 Pro usually takes better photos in RAW and JPEG format, especially at night which I think is crazy. The Pixel is capable of taking 1080P60 videos as well, something my A

I shoot on the same lens you are looking to buy and have a Sony a6300 For concerts I usually keep the shutter speed around 1/250 or higher to freeze movement( at metal/hardcore shows people move a lot, you might get away with 1/125 at a jazz concert), vary aperture between 1.6 and 2.8 depending on h

Oof, that has to be rough seeing all that carnage, but I guess someone has to develop the film. Thanks for your dedication to the craft and support to the medical community, for what it’s worth. I’ve had a few lenses that I got in a garage sale years ago, but didn’t have a camera that would work wit

Just to clarify, resolution doesn't always mean better quality. You can pick up a used Sony a5000/5100

Oh ok. I don’t know, it’s a k&f concepts OM-Emount adapter, which is what I was recommended when I asked around. Is that not a good band? Maybe it’s faulty? I thought it was just because I had an adapter in general and it was causing havoc. I knew about the lens size “equivalent” adjustment. Since m

Hi! I’d like to know if, heading into 2026, it’s still worth buying a Sony A5000/A6000. For context, I’m new to digital photography but I’ve been shooting analog for about a year with an Olympus OM40. I love the process, but it’s time-consuming and expensive, which isn’t always compatible with my st
