I'm in the market for a budget mirrorless myself and I must say this camera isn't worth 50k. For one thing, Samsung NX cameras are long dead and it's next to impossible to find NX mount lenses. You seem to have the standard 18-55 kit lens, which isn't exactly great. Second of all, Sony A5000 is supe

A teen girl probably isn't going to want to carry around a bulky older DSLR. Look for the small mirrorless cameras. Maybe a Sony a5000 or if you score a deal on an a6000. Also micro four thirds cameras by Olympus and Panasonic. That's how I got started and they have nice small lenses and bodies. May

for that price an aps-c dslr like a Canon Rebel or Nikon DX series are quality cameras to learn the fundamentals and still make great images. maybe you could find a sony a5000 series mirrorless camera and a cheap lens, it uses e-mount so you can keep the lenses and upgrade the bodies later to more c

Your post on r/cameras immediately got removed as I was replying to it, so I’ll paste my comment here: Get a used camera online or from a camera store. Budget offerings like Sony’s A6000 series (EXCEPT THE A6700) often go for under 1000 CAD with a minimal shutter count (basically mileage for cameras

What is your budget? All you need is a macro lens for tiny objects and a tele lens for birds. Any brand, any decent mirrorless camera will do, from 10 years ago to today's modern cameras. The Olympus EM10 or Lumix GX850/800 are cheap and have a great lens selection. The Sony NEX 5, A5000, and A6000

For your price range, if you want something like the NX3000 the Sony a5000 series might be a good alternative for you or the a6000 series if you want a viewfinder. Very decent entry level cameras, plus they use the E-mount so you have access to the full range of lenses.
