Need advice for a new cam
I picked up a Sony NEX-5 recently as a side camera and it’s pretty stellar for the age and price, very small and easy to use, if you get the pocket flash for it tho it has a maximum 1/160 shutter speed so keep that in mind for fast moving sets

M + Auto ISO 4 lyf: Why bother with A or S modes?
That’s probably it (1.5x APS-C crop factor), even though it’s not doing it very precisely. And it’s 1/60 from 18-40mm, but that might just be a practical limit chosen by Sony.
