The lenses will definitely shape the look, especially that soft quality. But I'd say the art direction and lighting are the main factors here. Practice those. I use it all the time, I’m shooting commercials, pilots, films and music videos with it. The A7siii will be good for another 10years. Some scenes of a music video I just shot on a GH4. Dude this camera shoots 4k 120fps 422 at night… what more do u need this camera to do? Get it and go have fun! 🤩

Not sure this is a 'purist' point of view, just a practical experienced shooter point of view. All this gimbal wank and rig bro's showing their 'gear' with all these useless addons a single shooter doesn't need.
