Size comparison small cine rig vs. broadcast setup. Thought you might like this.
Lol. An A7SIII is not a cine rig.

FX30 or FX3 or something else?
An S1ii costs less than an FX3 and outperforms it. If I didn't have Sony glass I'd take that over an FX3 or FX30 any day (I'm still shooting Sony with over 1k paid gigs done on an a7siii/FX3 so not a Panasonic shill, just being objective)

S1R II / S1 II or Sony A7V?
In 5.9k and 6k Open Gate lowlight performance is even better and you can get away even with 25600. Sony and Lumix ISO is different and 12800 on Panasonic is brighter (and sharper) than same iso value on A7S3 or FX3. I agree about 24 mpxespecially with all social media requirments where even 10 megap

Full Frame vs Crop sensors is mostly just vibes these days
I “downgraded” from FF to a GH7. I have used the A1, A7SIII, Z9 and Z6III in professional settings. But the GH7 gives me the best IBIS/Dual IS of all of these cameras to the point that I very often don’t need a tripod or gimbal. The GH7 flat out won’t overheat, both Sonys did often. And the MP4 Lite

Is anyone else considering the Nikon ZR?
For our documentaries and TVC shoots, we mainly use the Blackmagic 6K. For events, we were using the Sony A7S III until one time, during a very busy period, we hired a freelance shooter who brought a Nikon Z6III. We were blown away by how well it handled both outdoor and indoor lighting. After that,

What’s the difference in an Arri Alexa and a Sony fx3? In terms of the image.
Speaking mainly from stills, and assuming it is true to video as well, for the longest time the green on Sony camera sensors has been a curse. Seems to be fixed with all the newest cameras, was 90% gone with the A7RV and now the images from the cameras from 2024-today are IMHO fantastic and the prob

Seeking advice on my gear roadmap
Yeah, haha, I borrowed the name from Sony, I wasn't sure what else to call it. The problem with the A7S III is that it costs twice as much as the Sony FX30. I got my FX3 through a discount, making it much cheaper than the A7S III. Also, the photos that camera takes are only 12MP; the Sony A7 IV take

4k/24, 4k/30, or 1080/60 for Real Estate Video? (Sony a7III)
In my opinion the 1080p/60 is the single worst thing about the A7III. Just an absolutely trash super low bitrate codec that produces soft, mushy garbage footage. I tried pretty much every permutation of framerates and codecs with my A7III and I was honestly never really happy with any of the video I
