Should I upgrade firmware from 2.0 to the newest?
The newer firmware versions can break wireless and audio features on a subset of Sony cameras. These issues have impacted the A7S III, FX3 and other Sony models. Most cameras update without issue. Some do not. It is not a user issue, it's a Sony issue. The impacted cameras work perfectly on the 2.x

Should I upgrade firmware from 2.0 to the newest?
A lot of people are scared because of people saying it bricked there camera. A lot of people are wary, because Sony's 3.x, and 4.x firmware has been disabling wireless connectivity and audio inputs, and reducing autofocus performance. Not bricking.
