Fujifilm XE-5 vs Sony A7C II

Technically, the Sony far outperforms the Fuji. I shot Sony for a while, on a semi-pro basis, had a full lineup of G Master lenses, and if you want clean, clinically sharp images and unbelievable autofocus, that’s the way to go. But I sold the whole bunch and went back to Fuji. Nowadays I mostly use

Does this count as a “two-fer”?

Thanks mate, Yes I’m not sure if it’s the bigger pixels of the a7cii or Sony in general but these files behave nicely when pushed in post.

Heavily leaning towards an FX2 right now. Bad idea?

So as someone who’s owned the A7iii, A7iv & Fx30; as well as I currently own the A7S iii, Fx3 & I just picked up the Fx2 I would say the Fx2 is a really good starter. It’s essentially an A7iv or A7C ii in a cinema line body. Truthfully I don’t shoot 4k 120 often and I do a lot of commercial and docu

This week's walk. Tried some street photography

Thanks a lot! These are all shot with Sigma 28-70 f/2.8 on a Sony A7C II. I absolutely love that setup

Switching from iPhone (with apple ecosystem) to Xiaomi 17 Ultra, worth it?

I switched to 17U from Samsung S23U just for the 1inch sensor on the Xiaomi. I used to carry Sony a7C ii with 55mm prime with me all the time, but now I think 17U's main sensor is good enough for everyday point-and-shoots. The photos from the actual camera would always beat the phone's photos, but I

Sony Cameras Recommendations for Work

To answer your question directly, no it is not OA to go full frame if you are serious about professional work. But let me give you an honest breakdown of your options. The ZV-E10 II is a content creator camera first. It is capable but not the right tool if your goal is professional photography and v

Decided to get DA 40 pancake to pair with K1-II

well, im a pure hobbyist, so my opinion might just be totally different from people making money on photography. The K1-II story for me: I've got a bunch of Pentax glasses and I like Pentax colors/custom images (since I barely edit photos except for trying out different custom images), so I know I n

All these for 22 bucks

I've had that 35mm since new, used it a lot, it's worth buying a Nikon body just to use that lens. I'm not a fan of 50mm (it lives in a box), and 135 has always been too long/too short for my needs. (I like 85 and 180) But it's a great intro. And notice something REALLY important about Nikon lenses

First FujiFilm Camera

If your goal is to stay under the radar, I would go for a Ricoh GR III or, if you can afford it, a Ricoh GR IV. I use the silver X-T5 with the silver 23mm f/2.8 as my EDC and it is extremely conspicuous, just like the X-Pro, X100, and even the X-E5. I take photos as a hobby, and my first and only Fu

The GRIV already does great BW, if you are getting a GR Monochrome, tell me why?

Sure if you only shoot BW I guess a monochrome sensor would be better but carrying two cameras just to get one (1!) stop better performance is in my opinion crazy. But I’m coming from shooting a Pentax 67 with Tri-x ( 400 iso) 25 years ago :-) Then I would rather bring my Leica Q1 or a Sony A7C II w
