Technically, the Sony far outperforms the Fuji. I shot Sony for a while, on a semi-pro basis, had a full lineup of G Master lenses, and if you want clean, clinically sharp images and unbelievable autofocus, that’s the way to go. But I sold the whole bunch and went back to Fuji. Nowadays I mostly use

I think you’ve never used Sony AF. It doesn’t behave as you say, it literally predicts where you want to focus, it doesn’t switch it over to the persons ear. I have a Sony A7C II and a Nikon ZF. The Nikon is very good at AF (especially compared to something like my Fujifilm X-T50), but the Sony is m

Sony A7cII is my choice of the 3 for what you are looking for. Fuji autofocus is not good. So not good I sold all my Fuji gear because with each update it got worse. My experience. Lumix doesn't have an electronic shutter, no hot shoe, and no evf (I don't care about this really but the other 2 optio

I used both and now have sony a7cii + lumix s9 Do you do pro videography? If not, 8 bit is more than fine and I'd tell you to go for the a7c The s5 is a major downgrade in AF, the s9 AF is still worse than the sony (but good overall) but the build quality feels super cheap and then as you said, no e

Leica a, à mon sens

i've used the 17U for a few days, didn't like it. I didn't have the photography kit tho since it was my friend's phone. Your points are fair as well, we just value different things. And yeah, i would love for them to shove the sensor of actual cameras (maybe the one on my a7c ii, just for the memes?

If your goal is to stay under the radar, I would go for a Ricoh GR III or, if you can afford it, a Ricoh GR IV. I use the silver X-T5 with the silver 23mm f/2.8 as my EDC and it is extremely conspicuous, just like the X-Pro, X100, and even the X-E5. I take photos as a hobby, and my first and only Fu

Sure if you only shoot BW I guess a monochrome sensor would be better but carrying two cameras just to get one (1!) stop better performance is in my opinion crazy. But I’m coming from shooting a Pentax 67 with Tri-x ( 400 iso) 25 years ago :-) Then I would rather bring my Leica Q1 or a Sony A7C II w

u do realize leica cameras are kinda shit nowadays, right? u're just paying for the name, not the performance. U don't have the sharpness of a sony, or the color accuracy of a nikon, or the autofocus of a sony, or the detail of a hasselblad, leica is no longer a leader in literally anything, it's ju
