Not sure where this fits in…. #sonyfx2

Dead on arrival… 🫤 So I’ve been digging into the upcoming Sony FX2, and I’m honestly struggling to understand who this camera is supposed to be for. It feels like Sony just slapped the A7IV’s guts into a slightly different body, called it “cinema,” and bumped the price up. With an expected price of

Butterflies!

Some pics I took today of two butterflies in a local rain garden. I use the Sony Alpha 7 IV and the lens I was using here is the Sony 200-600mm f5.6-6.3 G OSS lens.

Most of the pictures turned out exactly as I wanted, but I was quite sad that even at an f stop of 32 I was unable to get both butte

Would you recommend Sony Alpha A7II for Real Estate Photography? What lenses to use?

If all you're going to be doing is photos, it's fine, if dated, though you should probably do some market research (Ie. pick up the phone and actually call a couple of local real estate agents) to see if anyone in your area is getting work only doing photos these days. Case in point, in my local mar

A7V released - 33MP partially stacked, 7.5 stop IBIS, new processor, $2900 USD - available for preorder

Well I fucking hated jello video even 15 years ago when I knew nothing about videography, still fucking hate it, so I don't want to produce anything with jello shots. It also makes digital stabilization practically unusable. All in all, it's definitely not a hype thing for me. I own an A7IV currentl

Thinking of exchanging my new ZR

the ZR shoots in many other formats as well. before considering a camera like the A7iv, consider the sensor readout speed and if the rolling shutter it produces is going to be an issue for you or the much slower frame-rate. if so, you would need to go to the Nikon Z6iii, Canon R6iii, or Sony A7v.

Canon r6iii

Both systems are great. I prefer Canon for sports, but that's because there was a time when I would never buy anything above the mid-range bodies and I liked the Canon mid-range bodies better. Had I gone for an a9, I may well have stuck with Sony for sports. I've never liked the a7 bodies for sports

Is selling to mpb worth it and is this too much?

Its weird you have quite competent cameras like the Nikon d7200, sony rxiv , at 15 years old (did you start photography at like 6 years old and you are still a beginner? Just joking!) yet you dont seem to use them, but prefer your iphone. Then you propose the Sony A7iv which is a costly flagship ful

Ive had to go back and type a new message more than twice now becuase it didnt save😅 its annoying but aside form that sure I can. Raw video recording/external recording. Now I'm not asking for internal raw video recording, with sony that may be awhile or they'll wait for next generation to give it t
