Cant afford leica or cinestill 800t, do I commit suicide?
At least you took the honorable way out instead of buying a Sony a7IV with a black mist filter

Question for Nick!
We use Sony cameras. For sit down stuff we use a Sony a7s iii and a7 IV. The IVs overheat with USB c charging so you have to use a dummy plug. You'll also need an elgato cam link to connect the Sony to the PC. Sony cam out with the a7 V It's spelled Nik.

[OM3] Loved Patagonia, Loved the OM-3.
I've been a bit of a lazy ass most of my life, and this is the first time I do a bit of trekking, and well, I'm lucky enough to live close to one of the most beautiful places in the world. For this trip, I carried my Sony A7 IV and the OM-3, and have to say, I ended up using more the OM-3. The Sony

Lumix S1H II: What price do you expect, and what’s the most you’d pay?
We already have it. S1II is better in lowlight than A7IV or FX3. Image is clean up even up to ISO25600. The Sony FX3 uses fairly aggressive noise reduction, which significantly degrades detail and gives skin a plastic appearance, while also losing a lot of color information—whereas the S1II preserve

Caught the red moonrise last night, before the smoke really started rolling in
Thanks! Shot on my Sony A7iv mirrorless full frame camera, and a Tamron 150-500. I wish I tried some longer exposure, since i got more ISO noise than I'd like and denoiseing in Lightroom got slightly muddy results, but I can live with it.

I feel reluctant to buy more L mount glass
If I wasn’t more into video I’d have picked up a Canon or Nikon. Didn’t like Sony (A7iv) when I used them but they were a better overall in-camera photography experience than Lumix, despite the photos out of camera on the S5 having nicer colours. Why don’t you rent one of the lumix telephotos and se

Not sure where this fits in…. #sonyfx2
Dead on arrival… 🫤 So I’ve been digging into the upcoming Sony FX2, and I’m honestly struggling to understand who this camera is supposed to be for. It feels like Sony just slapped the A7IV’s guts into a slightly different body, called it “cinema,” and bumped the price up. With an expected price of
