Why does my camera feel trash compared to when i first bought the phone?

Have the Fold 7 now, but felt the same with my S24 Ultra. Felt on par with my Sony A6100 in some conditions, but a year later felt like crap in comparison. Could just be you get used to it, and find it to be so good when new and when it's less shiny become less impressed.

Does not going full-frame kneecap my business potential?

While I think the a6100 is going to bottleneck you a bit (it's simply not modern, it's slow, events need you to react fast, the battery is small, it's built with mostly plastic, there's only one card slot), I do think you can try out newer photo editing tools. I swear the modern AI denoise tools I h

Bought my desired Sony alpha camera as a beginner but not feeling like I deserve this. What could be the reason?

So here's the thing, I am interested in clicking photographs. After suppressing my desire of buying a camera for 1 year I bought Sony alpha 6100 with dual lens 16-50 mm and 55-210 mm. I studied the main aspects such as ISO, Aperture, Shutter speed. I understood them theoretically however I am not ab

Why are images so much clearer on my 70D compared to my A6100 when A6100 is better in every way?

To me it looks like the A6100 clearly missed focus. How did you focus these two images?

Apple to stop selling iPhone SE and iPhone 14 in Europe as USB-C deadline hits

Lots of people in tech communities are pretty out of touch with what the average person actually has and uses. They upgrade frequently, compare against the best of the best, and frequently overestimate how common new and rising standards are as a result. Yes, USB-C has been around for seemingly fore

Exploring Seoul on foot

I used to have a sony a6100 but i wasn't using it as much as i wanted because it was still too big for me to carry around. So i ended up buying a Ricoh GR III and i love it. took me some time to get used to not have a viewfinder and to the sort of "wide angle". But now I absolutely love it, I put it

Red Dot Sight Mount for my Telephoto Camera Lens

I can share the design but I need to share it as a parametric model. I designed it in SolidWorks, I need to remodel it in Onshape before sharing. I have reasons to think STL is inappropriate for this design: First, I am on a APS-C body, the a6600 specifically. If you compared the a6600 vs the a6400

Direction of the Fujifilm as a company / system

Glad it works for You! I prefer the sturdy tanky feel of camera. Just preference I guess :) I am also a big dude with big hands, used to shoot with a6100 but it was borderline unusable for ergonomics perspective 😅

[ART] "Kimi wa Houkago Insomnia" commemoration art by Makoto Ojiro for anime announcement

This manga is like in my top 3. The aesthetic is fucking good, from the vibes of the night, the chill highschool days and the countryside setting. The whole "astrophotography" and "insomnia" are so fucking interesting for me. Im lowkey insomniatic, when I'm almost fallen asleep i start thinking and

Anyone damage their camera during eclipse?

Potentially? My mirrorless Sony A6100 was hooked up to a telescope (62mm refractor, 400mm focal length, f/6.45)... and even though it was my second eclipse, I got too caught up in the excitement.I completely forgot about my camera after C3 and didn't put my solar filter back on for more than a minute
