Does not going full-frame kneecap my business potential?

While I think the a6100 is going to bottleneck you a bit (it's simply not modern, it's slow, events need you to react fast, the battery is small, it's built with mostly plastic, there's only one card slot), I do think you can try out newer photo editing tools. I swear the modern AI denoise tools I h

Bought my desired Sony alpha camera as a beginner but not feeling like I deserve this. What could be the reason?

So here's the thing, I am interested in clicking photographs. After suppressing my desire of buying a camera for 1 year I bought Sony alpha 6100 with dual lens 16-50 mm and 55-210 mm. I studied the main aspects such as ISO, Aperture, Shutter speed. I understood them theoretically however I am not ab

Exploring Seoul on foot

I used to have a sony a6100 but i wasn't using it as much as i wanted because it was still too big for me to carry around. So i ended up buying a Ricoh GR III and i love it. took me some time to get used to not have a viewfinder and to the sort of "wide angle". But now I absolutely love it, I put it

Capture One perpetual licenses will no longer include new features, functionality after purchase

I've had it happen where when I got a Sony a6100 Capture one (I forget which version I had) wouldn't recognize the RAW files when it could read the a6000 files just fine. If I changed the exif to say a6000 it worked though.

Sony announces the ZV-E10, an Alpha series APS-C mirrorless camera aimed at vloggers | Review by DPReview

Yeah, between the fast imprecise powerzoom, heavy distortion, significant focus breathing, loud motor, and arguable range mismatch (honestly, something like a [not yet existing] 14-30 would probably be a better match, if not a prime or the 10-18mm), this seems like a not-thought-through lens choice.

What basic necessities do I need for a photoshoot?

Reading exactly what you wrote, instead of being the wedding photographer, offer your BEST FRIEND $500 as a wedding gift to hire a professional. I say this for several reasons, but using what you wrote and replied, these stick out: I’m barely starting out [not enough experience for such an important

Poor Quality

Took my Sony Alpha 6100 with Sony E PZ 18-105mm f/4.0 G OSS zoom lens to our son's cheer comp today. I know this is not a top tier photography camera, but I was disappointed. Noise is off the charts and sharpness isn't great. We'll be able to print some smaller prints, but nothing cropped or zoomed

Help a noob out?

I am a lucky beginner and own both a Sony alpha 6100 and a canon 5D mark III .

For now I am shooting in auto mode, and I want to ask more experienced photographers: why the shots with the Canon look much more interesting? The mirrorless camera shots are boring and I struggle to find good angles, w

Over focus?

I am wondering if anyone has an issue with pictures looking almost over focused? I have 2 different cameras a Nikon and a Sony Alpha 6100. I recently did wedding pictures and I have noticed that things seem to have almost to much detail with the 6100? It’s difficult to explain. I am just wondering i
