Why should I choose Nikon?

Nikon has been aggressive in giving photographers, and now videographers, the most bang for their buck in mirrorless. The Z-mount is semi-open, giving you the same budget options that Sony shooters get, and you can adapt E-mount lenses as well since there are more E-mount lenses floating around the

In your experience, what are the most reliable mirrorless cameras your photographers have used on set?

I've had the Sony A1 since 2021 and the A1 II since launch and zero issues so far shooting in basically every scenario. Pretty easy to work with after getting it all dialed in.

Canon powershot. Is it time for an upgrade? (First time posting)

I own an insane setup, the Sony A1ii with a Sony 300mm f2.8 lens. If I were to go back and buy something else for birding specifically I’d 100% go with the Olympus OM1mkii and whichever lens is in your budget. Smaller, more compact lenses, I already crop like crazy on full frame most of the time. Th

What Camera system/camera would be right for me and my mother?

I'd say there are six options from the main three brands, in two categories: Brand-New mid-range pro cameras:Canon R6 IIISony a7VBoth of these have 33MP, fast burst, good video, the Sony has higher IQ, the Canon is faster, but they're very close cameras. Personally I'd go Sony every time because of

What is your dream camera?

Currently have a R5 but if money was no issue, definitely the Sony A1 ii. I hate that Canons top of the line cameras have that giant weird form factor like the R3.

What makes you enjoy using your camera so much?

Very good question. Tbh, I am not sure, what it makes it for me. From the end of 2012, the Canon 5D MkIII was my workhorse and I used several bodies parallel for weddings and studio work. I loved the versatility of the cameras and was able to control it without looking at it. I had this feeling of i

Talk me out of a potential mistake.........

For what it’s worth, I swapped to a Sony A7rV from a Z8 for similar reasons. The Z8 was so big I wasn’t taking it out. After a couple years with Sony, I do miss Nikon, primarily for the ergonomics. Sony is small and technically superior, but the ergonomics are tough for any moderately heavy glass un
