How does improving something make the outgoing version bad? That doesn't make any sense. Every new camera ever released has improvements over the prior generation. No matter how good something is, it can always be improved. Every manufacturer says exactly the same thing when their new camera drops.

Yes. The 70fps is 12 bit, accessible through speed priority. Image priority is 60 fps in 14 bit. My guess is people care a lot more about Sony because the a7 series has always had fairly slow e shutter capability. And that this 30fps puts it at the same speed as the A1/ii
