Nikon Z5ii or Z6ii
I've had the Z7ii and Z8 for an equal amount of time this year by now. The previous generations AF is fine for most non fast moving stuff but the way the new gen AF works is just different. It's so much more reactive and sticky that its hard to put into words. Expeed6 gets an awful lot of slack and

Sony A7rii focusing question: Ok so first I know this camera is a piece of shit. But it's what I have. The autofocus is beyond terrible. It doesn't seem to matter what the hell I do I can never get this thing to focus consistently or accurately. What is the best settings / way to get this camera to

Help me choose
I moved from Sony a7r2 to a7r5 for the resolution, autofocus and increased sophistication. The colours let me down and I never felt the camera saw what I saw. Moved to X2D2 and haven't regretted it - images are great SOOC. If you have iPhone, it's better - paired with iPhone, x2d2 has improved ibis.

Nikon Z8 on the way!
I'm still adjusting to mirrorless myself. I tried it before with a Sony A7RII, a Canon M50, and a Z7II but didn't like any of them. I somewhat recently traded in my D5, D850, D3s, and some other stuff to get a Z8 and it's been good so far. I have the FTZII, VILTROX 28 f4.5, Nikon 50mm f1.8 S, 24-120

Mirrorless does nothing about low light performance. The larger sensor of the A7RII might help some but not as much as a wider aperture lens can. Also, the AF of those Sony cameras might not be that great in low light especially as I believe they were still somewhat limited in coverage with phase de

Issues with sharpness Nikkor Z 180-600mm lens
Feels or is? I had the same Sigma lens on Sony and it was consistently soft, in large part due to how poor the AF of my A7R2 was relative to my demands on subject matter I guess. I've been nothing but thrilled with the performance of my 180-600.
