How do I get sharper, less noisy pictures?

Sony A6400, Sigma 16-300 lens.

I know the iso is a little higher on the last 2 pictures. Is this just to be expected when shooting on a more budget setup?

switching from DSLR to mirrorless

I switched over to mirrorless about a year ago (I used to shoot on a Canon T5 and needed an upgrade, and I got a deal on a Sony a6400), and I’m still working to get comfortable shooting mirrorless. Mirrorless cameras undoubtedly have some definite advantages in terms of quality and features, but I f

beginner friendly cam

Mainly the gyro data recording capabilities and the fully articulating screen. A minor reason would also be the Type-C port. At first, I thought I was never going to need those features, but as I got into video, I found myself wishing I had them. I’m not saying the A6400 is a bad camera. It’s just t

Need help choosing mft bodies.

No I haven't used any Z mount DX camera. I know the Z50II is "weather sealed", but I cannot testify of how resistant it actually is. Sometimes companies say that a model is "weather resistant" while in fact it absolutely isn't. Case in point : Sony claims cameras like the A6300, A6500 and A6400 are

Does the weather sealing and build really matter? Because found that Sony A6400 has better build quality than Canon R50. Also, found some reviews that A6400 does not have a good user-friendly menu or functionality and Canon has better colors and menu structure. Do you have any idea on this matter?

Does the weather sealing and build really matter? Because found that Sony A6400 has better build quality than Canon R50. In terms of overall build, I wouldn't necessarily say that the Canon R50 is inferior. The a6400 does offer weather sealing but whether that will be useful depends on where you liv

Not sure I would buy a camera just on weather resistance alone, although Sony A6### are not known for it especially around the bottom. Bigger thing to check is the lens, I don't think any of the Sony ones you listed are so potential for water to get into the lens mount region. I would think the A640

In 2018-2019 I traveled to 25 countries with my family. I had zero photography experience prior, but tried to document the trip with photos and videos. I used: Sony a6400 with stock kit lens; Sony 50mm f1.8 oss; Sony GM 400 • Zhyiun crane full frame gimbal • basic Rode mic with a dead cat cover •

What's the best way to take care of debris on a sensor?

I recently picked up my first camera ever, a Sony Alpha 6400, and have noticed that there is some debris visible in photos when shooting with a narrow aperture. This photo demonstrates what I'm talking about (that bigger, blurrier spot in the upper left is just part of what I was shooting, not d

Sony Alpha 6400 lens connection problems?

I'm having an issue with my 4-year-old Sony Alpha 6400 paired with the SEL 18-135 lens. Until recently, everything worked perfectly and I was very happy with this setup. A few weeks ago, however, problems with the lens connection began to appear. There's no error message, but sometimes get strong vi
