Why are so many APS-C fans on this sub?
the main reason I steer people away from APS-C is that , other than Fuji, which I do recommend, the other manufacturers treat it as just an entry point to their FF cameras. The lens catalogue for Nikon,Canon and Sony native APS-C lenses tends to be much smaller and lower quality, they just have the

i started with an a6000 years ago and honestly for video the zv-e10 is way better. the a6000 overheats in 4k after like 15 mins and has no mic jack which was a dealbreaker for me. the Sony ZV-E10 with Kit Lens gives you that flip screen for self shooting and product showcase mode. grab an apter Side

Camera?
Sony RX100VII. I avoided getting one for the longest time since they're pricey but I knew it would be the perfect camera for me. Before that I tried carrying around my Sony A6000 with a pancake lens but it was too bulky for my bag. I got a Pentax Q7 which is small and good, but only the fixed 50mm e

Camera nerds of Reddit, I come to you humbly asking for help. I've been in and out of photography ever since I was a teenager. I love to take photos, and I’m trying to get better about editing them, but that’s another story for another day. In a couple months I'm making a major move, which includes

Ricoh GR IV oder III (gebraucht)?
I am at the exact same question. I have a Sony A6000 which I often leave at home because of the size and the bad battery. I think I am going with the GR IV because of the better ISO, better IBIS and bigger bettery.

Recommended camera for baker and rainier
Ricoh GR iii or iv are great pocketable 28mm fixed lens APSC sensor cameras. I have the iii and love the size. You’re already carrying enough stuff, why lug heavy glass too. I used to lug an a6000, but it spent more time put away since it’s more bulky. Don’t mistake them for the GR Digital series, t

Camera recommendations? Beginner
For 1200 (USD?), you could get a Tamron 150-500 for your A6000. A powerful lens, but heavy. Image quality wise, I think the A6000 would do fine, but the AF isn't quite as good as on today's cameras. If you consider additional upgrades in the future, the Sony system is pretty good, for example you co

Hi everyone! I am in the market to buy my first camera. I am currently debating between buying a new Sony A6100 or a Canon RP (open to suggestions for others). Here is what I am looking for: something light and small enough to bring with me hiking and travelling (I live in British Columbia and trave

What should beginners start photography with, a DSLR or Point and Shoot / Compact Camera? And why?
I've done a quick search to check your claims. Cheapest flagship mirrorless body I could find on MPB would be an a7 for €324 in "good" condition. Cheapest viable starter lens to go with that would be an FE 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS, for €119. €443 for a decent full-frame kit, not bad, but I wouldn't cal
