Should I switch Cameras before it's too late?
Sony a6000 is very old, unless you mean a6700 then it's good. You can do good photography with either brand. Don't look back, unless you have a specific reason. One that you can cite and explain. AF tracking might be one, or framerate and resolution for video, or whatever. Other people having it is

Is Lumix autofocus really that bad? S1 vs S5 user experiences needed
That actually makes a lot of sense, thanks for the explanation. I think part of my confusion comes from watching more recent comparisons where people still describe the AF as “bad” in general, without really separating photo vs video use. It’s good to hear that in real-world shooting (like weddings)

Is there anyone who has used both Sony and Olympus cameras?
I had an a6000 for 10 years before switching to an OM-5 mk.II last year, best decision ever. To be honest, most of the 10 years I had the a6000 I was in a photography "hiatus" because of mainly personal reasons but, when I decided to start taking pictures again last year, I started struggling again

Does anyone else prefer the way DSLR photos appear compared to mirrorless? Just me?
I haven’t! I’ve tried adjusting the in-camera sharpness and clarity, I’ve physically cleaned parts, I’ve even updated software and reset to factory settings… I have a Nikon DSLR D300, and have tried both the Sony A6000 and the Fujifil X-T3ii. I have just read some of the comments though and read it

Planning my next camera for 2026, what should I be looking at?
I have an a6000 as well and the AF is buns which is why I’m considering moving to a Z5 (no video from me) but may just upgrade to an a6700. Have you considered an a6700? The video capabilities are fantastic, the AF system is top-tier, and you can keep your current lens and any new lenses you purchas

Camera recommendations? Beginner
For 1200 (USD?), you could get a Tamron 150-500 for your A6000. A powerful lens, but heavy. Image quality wise, I think the A6000 would do fine, but the AF isn't quite as good as on today's cameras. If you consider additional upgrades in the future, the Sony system is pretty good, for example you co

Have a made a “mistake”?
Yes ! I have a few nex cams and A5100 , same af as A6000 . I have a few af lenses but also used old mf film lenses . I was never convinced to get the 55-210mm . . . and I didn't use the other kit lenses . Here's the kicker - all too easy to do it again ! Reason - the main improvements in mirrorless
