Should I switch Cameras before it's too late?
Sony a6000 is very old, unless you mean a6700 then it's good. You can do good photography with either brand. Don't look back, unless you have a specific reason. One that you can cite and explain. AF tracking might be one, or framerate and resolution for video, or whatever. Other people having it is

Is 525mm enough for wildlife? Is Sony E mount (APSC) a future-proof mount?
2: Sony is a very future proof mount - more so than M4/3 certainly. Broadly there is no reason to expect any current mount to go away except for financial reasons, and as Sony E is the most used mirrorless mount it is the least likely to go away. 1: Your bigger limitation will likely be the a6000's

Is Lumix autofocus really that bad? S1 vs S5 user experiences needed
That actually makes a lot of sense, thanks for the explanation. I think part of my confusion comes from watching more recent comparisons where people still describe the AF as “bad” in general, without really separating photo vs video use. It’s good to hear that in real-world shooting (like weddings)

Is there anyone who has used both Sony and Olympus cameras?
I had an a6000 for 10 years before switching to an OM-5 mk.II last year, best decision ever. To be honest, most of the 10 years I had the a6000 I was in a photography "hiatus" because of mainly personal reasons but, when I decided to start taking pictures again last year, I started struggling again

I got a full spectrum camera. Tree leaves are pink.
That is pretty common, I think it just depends on the autofocus system. My Sony a6000 modded to 820nm does not have a working AF either.

Lens opinions for the a6000
I'm sure you've looked at reviews already. The Sigma, Tamron, and Sony 16-55 are all very sharp lenses. If you REALLY pixel peep you MIGHT see a difference. However, with the Tamron you'll get better results once the shutter speed drops a bit. Autofocus-wise on the A6000 you'll see no difference bet

Is AF really that bad?
Depends, if you’ve used anything like a Sony a6000 or up you can expect to feel it’s lacking in everything but ideal conditions. Now in a well lit scene you won’t have any issues with general auto focus. I will echo what others are saying though the snap focus which is just hyperfocal or range focus

Is A6000 a good beginner camera for wildlife??
700 euro for a camera is very doable. 700 for a camera plus "wildlife lens" is... probably not. The a6400 is definitely a better camera than the a6000 and is available for about $500. I fear you will be disappointed by 12 year old autofocus tech in the a6000. The Sony 70-350mm lens, the shortest I w

What's a good camera to buy for beginners?
A sony A6400 with an OSS lens might be your best bet. You don't get IBIS, but having lenses with IS/OSS makes up for it. There's a sony 50mm f1.8 with OSS I believe, as well as plenty of other lenses like 16-50mm and Sony E 55-210mm f/4.5-6.3 OSS kit lenses. You can get these three for anywhere from

Does anyone else prefer the way DSLR photos appear compared to mirrorless? Just me?
I haven’t! I’ve tried adjusting the in-camera sharpness and clarity, I’ve physically cleaned parts, I’ve even updated software and reset to factory settings… I have a Nikon DSLR D300, and have tried both the Sony A6000 and the Fujifil X-T3ii. I have just read some of the comments though and read it
