New B&O Speakers
For a smart speaker brand, it's great, and I definitely can't argue with the bass output. But bass frequency alone doesn't make a good speaker. The Apple Homepod can do 20Hz at 10dB higher than the Sonos Five, that doesn't make it a good speaker. For accuracy and overall sound quality it's still eas

Sounds bad?
I think what you’re hearing makes sense.I used Era 100s as fronts myself for a while, and they were okay, but to me they were never the best front solution. I later ran Era 300 as fronts with Era 100 as surrounds, and that sounded very good. After that I bought Sonos Fives and now use Fives as front

My favorite thing about Sonosequencer
I was delighted to read your post! I know exactly what you’re talking about and I like it too. A lot!! In fact, I’ve noticed that songs i listen to in Dolby Atmos on Apple Music sound much better through Tidal premium. I know less than nothing about the technical aspects. Even though Tidal offers DA

Bose is back in your living room, and Sonos should be worried
I have had a few bose products over the years but not the latest quiet port stuff. Previous products: Soundtouch 30 Soundock 30 Soundlink 2 (the book one) The soundtouch 30 and dock 30 (same internals just redesigned) sounded amazing with the transmission line woofer but the soundlink with tiny driv

HomePod at work messing up my Apple Music recommendations, any fix?

Denon Home vs Sonos
Sonos Five has an excellent reputation for bass on its own. I think most Sonos users would recommend a stereo pair of Fives over one Five plus a sub.

New B&O Speakers
I disagree. They sound great. 1k all in streaming, amp, dsp. I've not heard sierras but I'm pretty sure that package will cost you much more especially if you want something with dsp. 30hz and a pretty flat response. What about them didn't you like? The soundbars are not good with music but the five

New B&O Speakers
There is a difference between theoretical specifications and reality. The 826 chora crush the sonos fives on all musical levels, including the bass. In home theatre, the addition of a subwoofer could be nice but I don't use any and I've had these speakers for more than 5 years, I mainly listen to ro

My first week turning tables
Yup. Both. The Era 300 last week in a coffee shop in Berlin by chance. I wouldn't have known they were Sonos but now that I googled them, I recognise the shape. They were... Okayish, but still no better than the play one in a similar space. The Sonos Fives are all over, you find them everywhere. I don

I like to listen while I cook
The sonos 5 tested really. I bought one and returned just to audition. It sounded really good and the bass extension was crazy. Dsp can do really cool things. https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/sonos-five-smart-speaker-review.51409/
