Good gifts for boyfriend with this setup? (See photo)
I don't see any wired headphones. If he doesn't have any, that could be a great gift. Sennheiser HD 6XX are currently on sale, and are an excellent headphone for the money. https://drop.com/buy/massdrop-sennheiser-hd6xx

Headphones 2025
The ATH M50x people are recommending is not the best recommendation. Those are GREAT headphones for producers and DJs, however I find they are not the most crisp and enjoyable for casual listening. They are decent enough but not at that hear every "tap, twinkle, bass, crecensdo" level. For a good li

Headphone Recommendations?
Sennheiser Massdrop HD6xx, which is basically an hd650 but with a nicer pricetag. I've owned dt990 pros, audio Technica ath m50x, Sony mdr7605. Definitely prefer the Sennheisers as far as accuracy and how they translate to other systems. But of course, to each their own.

Seeking a recommendation for over-the-ear headphones 🎧
If you're planning to stay at your desk, get a solid headphone amp and grab the Sennheiser 6xx, a little pricy but it changed my life for the lack of a better way to say.

What really good headphones are we using these days? Looking for rec’s from people who know good music.
Massdrop x Sennheiser HD6xx. Incredible headphones, but you’d need an amp. They aren’t Bluetooth, and they are open back. They are super comfortable (better than the Sony XM6 I have that are $450 and hurt my ears after awhile). For $200 plus $100 for an amp, the HD6xx are incredible.

Dt 770/Else or curent Logitech G pro x
DT770s are great headphones for tracking/recording because they're tight fitting, closed back, don't let sound leak into the mic, pretty comfortable and can take a lot of abuse. They're in a load of studios for this reason but they're not very accurate, flat or even good sounding because they have r

Advice on picking a pair of home headphones
If you want a low-risk, low-cost entry into wired Sennheisers, I would start with HD6XX. https://drop.com/buy/massdrop-sennheiser-hd6xx

What is your setup that you use to listen to Ado(and/or other Artists)?
Bought the 24-bit 96kHz FLAC files from Ototoy. Put them on my Linux music player of choice Fooyin (basically a fully open source, Linux only Foobar2000 clone for Linux highly suggest checking r/Fooyin and the repo for it). I have a JDS Labs Atom 2 DAC and AMP stack with the stock USB cable and powe

Sennheiser headphones are known for their durability. What’s the longest you’ve owned a pair, and what’s the story behind them? Still using them today?
I've used my HD-650 for more than 20 years now. Bought them when they were still pretty new. I love them! They've survived so much. Still going strong. I can't count how many times they've been dropped over the years. Paint is surprisingly mostly intact, though the headband has some flaking on the i

HD600 v HD650 v HD660s2
Fellow Canadian, the 560S is an insane value here, we get it cheaper than anywhere else. But it seems sold out. Edit: it is only sold out on Amazon, it is awesome when you do some EQ, and is what I recommend. But, if you don't want to EQ, keep reading. I also have owned them all. My favorite switche
