Sennheiser will probably be fine. Aside from that, you just missed the HD 600 on sale for $379. The HD 650 is still on sale for $399 I believe, but that is on Amazon. The HD 800 S will probably be more similar sounding to your Arya depending on how well it seals on your head, and how much treble you

I have Sennheiser HD 800 S for professional purposes. I don’t think it can get better than that. But it’s very pricey. Edit: for personal use I have the Bose NC 700. Also really good quality. Renewed the earpads so good for a lot of more years!

My Sennheiser HD 800 S headphones kind of beg to differ. That said, my main mix complaint is how dry it is, especially the vocals. I definitely think MD have released warmer-sounding albums

I did an AB test with the Bathy MGs and PX82s. To me, the focals were the clear winner. Much better soundstage and instrument separation. And just a much more complete sound. The B&Ws were a bit warmer, but the slightly recessed vocals, no matter how I eq’d them were a deal breaker. The focals are t

No headphone has everything, you’ll definitely notice if the biggest advantages from one headphone are missing on another if you’ve been using those other headphones for so long. Even if you have the HD 800 S, which is seen as the very top of what you can get from sennheiser open back’s, the bass is

Alr Im jealous asf. HD 800 S, Clear OG, tons of ZMFs, HD 660 S2 and, 3 HD 600?😭 why do you have 3 of them? Are the other 2 modded? (They seem to be), if so, what those mods do? Nice collection! I own the 1st gen of QC Ultra and some other ANC headphones, as for wired I only own my Arya Stealth and m

I'm deep into the audiophile hobby so this is something I've spent a lot of time and money on. Avoid gamer brands because none of them are good. They're all muddied consumer garbage. Nothing comes close to Audeze Maxwell. They're by far the best you can get right now. Not only the best "gaming heads
