He has never specified his iems as far as I know, but ive looked into him extensively. I recently went down this same rabbit hole and can give you some solid advice. I used to use Logitech gaming headsets and learned they are all mostly garbage. Any "gaming" headset is mostly a gimmick. I then got a

Movies are made for multi speaker setups. For wider soundstage. Headphones are better for wider soundstage than Earphones. (Over the ear, Preferably open back) Now Wired or Wireless? If price to audio quality is the question, Definitely wired. Now you have to look for is, What are audiophile options

I mean there's an obvious difference if you're testing stuff for funsies or you're looking for what sound suits you the best...from my experience, finding a stable pick has an end, if we're talking about that. When you really discover what sound you like, you kinda stop there, it seems like it's an

Maybe not really the most helpful recommendation but the sennheiser hd-560s is a very well-loved headset across the board for fps games. Great soundscape to hear footsteps with clear direction, light, comfortable. No mic included. They are wired, though. I have only used this headset for years now a

From Hifiman I have Edition XS, 400SE , I have also Audeze Maxwell 1, Sennheiser HD560S, Turtle Beach Stealth Pro, Astro A50. For gaming , the last three (Sennheiser, TB and Astro) are better especially in sound positioning in FPS. Unfortunately, from them 560S is a little too tight for my head for

Sennheiser HD560s/HD600/HD650 depending on what you are comfortable spending. I used 560s and 650 for most of college in our school's control room. I use Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro 250ohm for mixing. WIth Oratory's EQ presets, they are kick ass. too bright ootb without eq however. They are 9.5/10 in com

That's all right! xD In that case, I would not be afraid of HD 650. I recommend watching videos about review of different headphones from Sennheiser, Beyerdynamic and HiFiMAN (for an example) to find what reviewer is close to your personal tastes and go from that, because you can buy expensive headp

headset has bigger sound stage and in my opinion more layering when it comes to games. For example jets on IEMs feel closer in BF6 whereas on my Arya stealth they feel correctly positioned at the distance of those products I absolutely don’t like 560S. 505 is a much better headphone to my ears and c

Excellent review. How would you say the soundstage and imaging of the 505/550 compare to the 560S and HD 650? I’ve always found the 560S to have a very wide stage - perhaps second only to the 800 series, but falls short in imaging, as instruments not separated by channels tend to blend together. The
