I’m so tired of these audiophile dorks commenting on every fucking gaming headset question. I’ve had sennheiser hd 490 pros, beyerdynamic DT 900 pro Xs, sennheiser hd 560s and guess what i still use a gaming headset. Nothing better than a wireless headset with a good mic. The Razer BlackShark v3 has

I have been playing with the HE1000SE and I absolutely love them! I’ve never heard audio like these. I switched from the Sennheiser HD 490 Pro and the HD 800 S. So I don’t have any other experience with the other HiFiman models. But I will say, my journey is complete lol

Sorry i can't comment on the MTW 4, But to share my experiences as of late: in 2016 i purchased hd 598 from Amazon, they still work to this day, they've been dropped, mishandled and all sorts, i have slammed them (Stupidly first few years, thanks league of legends), they work almost fine, they rattl

Sadly, a used Sennheiser HD 800 will likely be just outside of your budget. The HD 600 is a solid, classic choice. It has some of the best sound quality you can get at any price point. I'm not a big fan of the HD 560S or the HD 490 Pro, personally. But the HD 550 is also a great choice.

Background noise on a lot of media like pod casts and stuff was just amplified vs all the other headphones i have used. Very distracting, i don't know if this is due to how warm the sennheisers i've used are but it's like any audio like fan noise in the background was just louder and overpowering th

I think you have the same "issue" as me. Most people dismiss warm sounding headphones are wrong it seems and prefer the neutral audio. I, personally love the hd 598, 599, 660s2 sound, which is WARM sounding headphones. I also tried the hd620s - they're not bad but they aren't warm sounding, they can

I feel like it. I used to use razer electra headsets for my pc - then in 2016 experienced the hd 598 - amazing, no issues, 10 years later, i'm struggling to replace them with NEW headphones that do the SAME job. The hd 490 pro is the one headphone everyone tries brainwashing you to think is "the one

Yeah but i had several hd 490 pros that also had major QC issues - and they ARE from THE sennheiser. I made posts regarding them last year and got tons of hate - now i search "hd 490 pro creaks" and i am finding more and more people are posting about it over time. Also FWIW, 1 bad pair does not mean
