Take a look at the Sennheiser HD 280 PRO phones. Good isolation, audio quality and price.

I use Sennheiser HD 280 Pro, which are on the cheaper end of things but I've been happy with them personally. I've used them for long enough now that I've learned how they sound, which is probably half the battle. I'm interested in going wireless because I'm sick of cables getting in the way when I'

Sennheiser HD 280 or 300 Pro are good but more than you want to spend. I doubt you'll be happy in that price range. I personally have the 300s.

I've have a few pairs of the Sennhwiser HD 280 pro over the last 10 years and they kick butt. For a mid-range price point ($100) these are hard to beat. Great sound, comfortable to wear, great sound range (low to high) You will still want some studio monitor speakers to test on as well. I usually mi

I would suggest as entry level some Tascam models, which you might find (used) on eBay as well as new. DR-05, DR-07, DR-40. There may be newer versions of some of those, too. Sennheiser HD 280 Pro. They were a bargain at $99, now you can find them for $69.
