31.5" 4K240Hz/1080p480Hz vs 34" 1440p240Hz, which one is more practical for general use/gaming?

I went from Samsung Odyssey G9 to Asus PG32UCDP 4k . Every time i play games or just do normal work stuff/ browsing im happy that i made the swap. 4k low graphic settings looks better than 2k ultra ๐Ÿ˜ . Im not a super competitive gamer ( 130 fps for me is enough)

Lesson learned, don't go to the top part of the arena when the boss is there, especially the corners.

it is goofy to record and share content, for context itโ€™s a 49โ€ odyssey G9. 5120x1440. Moving back to a normal 1440p screen though, want double my current FPS back ๐Ÿ˜‚

Anyone as experience with a super ultrawide 32:9 monitor?

I've used an odyssey g9 (not oled) for a few years. I'm getting rid of it right now actually. It's been a good monitor, but I've had a nonstop recurring issue that was infrequent enough for me to put up with:Sometimes when I put my pc to sleep, then wake it, the monitor does not turn back on. I have

4 screen Multiview with 4 different sources/HDMI cables, one screen always pixelated

Thereโ€™s 2 things: First, the split screen is just streaming, so quality and input lag are bad. Secondly, for some odd reason i canโ€™t comprehend, multi view doesnโ€™t use all the pixels (you see some areas on top and bottom that are unused) so 1080p is being displayed in less pixels, hence, having a ve

Cyberpunk 2077 @ 7680ร—2160 (32:9) RT Overdrive | RTX 5090 | DLSS Q/P/UP + 6ร— MFG

You'd have lot of old games with black bands (made even worse by the increase curved), games with UW support that simply have an inconvenient and non customizable HUD layout that makes several part of the game feel cumbersome, and then a significant disadvantage in competitive games. I have a 5090 a

Does anyone know if the MacBook Neo can drive a 5120x1440 monitor?

Update: It works via a DisplayLink docking station. But not directly from the laptop. No. Mine isn't able to send full resolution to my Samsung Odyssey G9 for some reason. Theoretically it should be possible, at least at 60Hz, as 4K60 needs more bandwidth, but for whatever reason mine won't. I'm usi
