Is 4k worth it over 2k for OLED??
Ahhhhh. I know how that is. Been there lol. That 32” I recommended should be perfect! See the thing with OLED is WOLED cleans easy as glass….QD-OLED like my Samsung G9, is the literal worst screen I’ve ever tried to clean! Seriously, idk what they put on the screens but they will leave steaks like c

31.5" 4K240Hz/1080p480Hz vs 34" 1440p240Hz, which one is more practical for general use/gaming?
I went from Samsung Odyssey G9 to Asus PG32UCDP 4k . Every time i play games or just do normal work stuff/ browsing im happy that i made the swap. 4k low graphic settings looks better than 2k ultra 😁 . Im not a super competitive gamer ( 130 fps for me is enough)

What monitor to pair with 4080 super?
Have not noticed it on my LG C5 yet, it was horrendous on my G9 Odyssey.

Anyone as experience with a super ultrawide 32:9 monitor?
I've used an odyssey g9 (not oled) for a few years. I'm getting rid of it right now actually. It's been a good monitor, but I've had a nonstop recurring issue that was infrequent enough for me to put up with:Sometimes when I put my pc to sleep, then wake it, the monitor does not turn back on. I have

For those of you who held out on upgrading for a while because your non-OLED did the job, what convinced you to change and was it worth it?
I last checked up on OLED years ago when it was expensive and overhyped. This year my neck finally started hurting from the 55” odyssey ark so I looked for upgrades. Tried the G9 57” miniled and it looked awful. Decided to consider oled. Read about how burn in is basically a non factor these days an

5120x1440, 240hz, 49inch ultrawide monitor... im in heaven rn
Yeah 5120x1440, 240hz and it's the Samsung G9 Oydessey OLED. I had the non-OLED before it. Strangely I found the non-OLED smoother!

Best single screen for simacing in Q1/2026? My research and honest customer review.
But it's a Samsung. And it's still only a VA panel. I'm more of a quality over quantity type of guy and honestly, I've never looked at my 49" monitor and thought, it needs to be bigger. Going from G9 49" VA (after it shit itself) to an MSI 49" QD OLED? Now that's literally a night and day upgrade. H

A/B/C Zowie 600hz vs OLED 480/360hz for FPS
u/DrunkOnLiquor Hey I'm a Widow/Ashe main in Overwatch and play on the Odyssey G9, but it feels too blurry and rugged. So I was looking at the 600hz. You said one of the only noticeable differences was sniping? Would you say it would be worth paying the price? Thanks

Dota 2 keeps causing both my monitors to go into black screens.
OP, which monitor/s and GPU? VRR on or off? Fullscreen or Windowed? DX11/Vulkan? Launch options? In general more details needed from your setup. This issue has just started for me as well but I also recently been testing new monitors so I chalked it up to that. I also run a -20 offset on CPU and did

Torn Between Ultra Wide and VR
I got a Samsung odyssey g9 oled 49, and have had issues with 2 to 3 second screen blackouts every now and then (catastrophic for sim racing). I've heard that the problem is not actually with the monitor, but with the DP ports on Nvidia 4090 gpus (apparently AMD's don't have the issue) . I'm curious
